FAQ
How do I find out how to play an online casino game?
The Guyana Lottery offers several slot and table games to be played online. Every game has its special rules and intricacies that make the game play unique. Inside each game, there is a Help Section so that you are aware of how to wager, how to win and what the winnings paid to you are. The Guyana Lottery encourages all players to use this information and to "Know Your Limit and Play Within It".
Are the Online Casino games the same as the games at my local Casino?
You will find some different, and some similar titles and versions of games offered in land-based casinos. You will also find some unique game features on The Guyana Lottery's website that are not offered on land-based games. The odds of winning a wager on the games and the payouts of all the games are very similar to land-based casinos.
Overall, you can rest assured that The Guyana Lottery offers an exciting and fair gaming experience for you no matter which game you choose to play.
What happens if I'm playing and need more funds to make an additional wager (like double down in Blackjack)?
If you are playing a The Guyana Lottery’s online casino game and a decision is required from you to proceed (like hit or stand in blackjack), the game will wait for you to make that decision even if you have to close the game or perform other actions.
If you require more funds, you can proceed to the deposit page and load more funds to your account. When you re-enter the game, your balance will update with the newly deposited funds.
If you are ever forced to leave the game, or choose to leave the game with an unfinished hand, you will be prompted to complete this hand prior to continuing play on that game.
What does Auto Spin do?
For player convenience, an Auto Spin button is provided on most slot games. This button when pressed will automatically spin the reels for you in sequence. Wins will be shown and credited to your account before the next spin.
Some of our games provide the player with the opportunity to specify exactly how many spins the Auto Spin should engage for. Other games give the player the option of spinning for 5, 10, or 25 spins.
It is important to remember that you can stop the Auto Spin at any time, either by closing the game or pressing the "Stop" button (which is normally the "Spin" button, but changes to "Stop" when Auto Spin is engaged). Auto Spin does not obligate you to any spin that you do not want to make. Auto Spin will also stop automatically if you do not have enough funds in your account to place the bet.
What happens if I don't complete the game I'm playing?
If you are playing a The Guyana Lottery’s online casino game and a decision is required from you to proceed (like hit or stand in blackjack), the game will wait for you to make that decision even if you have to close the game or perform other actions.
Funds wagered will remain in this state until such time that you complete that game or your account becomes inactive. If your account becomes inactive, any wagered funds from incomplete games will be void.
If bets placed remain undecided in an incomplete game beyond a stipulated timeframe determined by The Guyana Lottery, they will become void. Please refer to each game’s Help Section.
What happens if my computer goes down or freezes during playing?
After placing your bet, if your play is terminated in any way, the result of your play will still stand. When you return to that game you will be prompted to complete the game you were playing. You need to do this before you will be able to play that game again.
In the event of any dispute or discrepancy regarding any aspect of your purchase and/or play decisions, the information in the computer systems will prevail, and only the purchase and/or decision recorded by the computer systems will participate in the game.
